Up through the rhododendron woods, we’ll follow the winding path of stories all the way to the summit, with dragons and trolls, brave children and wicked witches, trickster spiders and cheeky monkeys for company!
Your guide will be internationally renowned storyteller, Emily Hennessey, who lives in Cumbria and loves to explore landscapes and stories.
Suitable for all ages, both adults and children.
This StoryWalk will end at the summit and take around 75-90mins followed by visit to the nearby Blacksmiths Van for coffee and cake!
Could be muddy in places. Boots or wellies recommended.
Dogs on leads welcome.

FACILITIES: There are public toilets at Broad Street in Windermere village, along with lots of cafes and shops.
GETTING THERE: The start point is just 3 minutes from Windermere Station, which has regular train services from Kendal, Oxenholme and beyond on the Lakes Line. Frequent bus services also call at Windermere Station linking many local destinations including Ambleside, Bowness and Kendal. There is parking in Windermere village and a car park at Broad Street.
