The woods and valleys are bursting with stories!

Join internationally renowned storyteller Emily Hennessey for this family-friendly story walk through the beautiful Winster Valley – a hidden jewel in the South Lakes nestled between Kendal and Lake Windermere, full of babbling becks, damson trees, herdwick sheep, magical woodland and sweeping views across farmland and fells.

Suitable for all ages, both adults and children.

Bring a picnic and stay for our Pop-Up event with StoryDen, Coffee Van and Audio Stories from 12-4pm!

This gentle walk is just under 1 mile / 75-90mins long.

Not suitable for wheels. (Check out our accessible StoryWalks at Orrest Head & Grange)

Could be muddy in places. Boots or wellies recommended.
Dogs on leads welcome.
