Kersti Ståbi grew up on a big farm. But in stead of animals in the barn there were beds in all corners and the hay loft turned into a dance floor full of folk musicians, troubadours, fine artists and who ever they were sleeping with at the time. Some stayed a day or two, others weeks and months. Kersti started touring at an early age. Aside from 23643 small folk music concerts and storytelling clubs she has sung as Prima Donna in Cirque du Soleils Tokyo show, told ghost stories with Gavle Symphony Orchestra and performed the 30 minute long poem Voluspa completely in Old Norse.
