Join us on an intensive 5 day residential workshop to explore three fundamental aspects of storytelling: body, language and story.
We’ll stay, work and eat together on a beautiful estate nestled in the quiet hills above Lake Windermere.
With the Lakeland Fells on our doorstep we will take a day to venture out amongst the mountains and becks, finding the wild elements in our bodies and words.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to craft and tell a story? Or perhaps you’d like to develop your storytelling skills?
We’ll dive into a rich treasure trove of folktales and wondertales and explore how to work with the bare bones of a narrative through structure and composition, how to build a vivid story world through imagery and description, and how to improvise a story with confidence.
Aimed at beginners and those with some experience.
